Reservations

Reservations are per litter and are taken once the pregnancy is confirmed. We keep an announcement list for when reservations open. You can be added to the list by using the form on the Puppies! page.

A $300 deposit is required for all reservations, the deposit is non refundable. In the event you are unable to accept a puppy from the litter you are reserved for, or if the litter does not produce enough puppies to select from, then your reservation and deposit will be moved to a future litter.

We accept cash, cashier checks, money orders, Zelle, and Venmo.

Pickup and Delivery

Puppies are selected at 6 weeks of age and picked up at 8 weeks of age. We offer delivery within a reasonable distance for an additional charge, contact us for arrangements. We currently do not ship puppies.

Each puppy will go to their new family with AKC registration papers, vet check, health contract, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and puppy food.

If a puppy is not picked up within five days of notification at 8 weeks, a $25 per day boarding fee is incurred and due in full before the puppy is taken home. If contact cannot be made with a purchaser for five consecutive days for puppy selection and/or pickup, the purchaser forfeits their puppy and deposit. If a puppy is not picked up within two weeks of a set pickup date the purchaser forfeits their puppy and deposit.

General Info

Shepherds have allergies and sensitives to food, just like humans. It may take some trial and error to find a food that agrees with your shepherd and that they like, especially with multiple dogs. Shepherds need a large breed puppy/dog food, as it is formulated to meet their protein and calcium needs.

Shepherd puppies' joints develop slowly, care needs to be take on their activity level and jumping until they are at least six months old.

Shepherd puppies' ears should be raised by six months. Their ears are held up by muscle development so it is important they have adequate chew toys.

We recommend you wait until your puppy is at least a year old before spaying or neutering. Waiting allows them to have the hormones to mature and develop their bones and joints. A shepherd will not reach their full growth until they are about a year and half.

It is highly recommended to NOT have your puppy around other dogs, at dog parks, or on the ground where other dogs have been - until they are fully vaccinated, which will be around five months old.
